Jeff is a licensed acupuncturist with over 20 years experience in the alternative healthcare field. Originally licensed to practice in Oregon in 1990, he has provided acupuncture services in a variety of multidisciplinary clinical settings that offered both conventional western and alternative medical treatment modalities. With a strong belief in the integrated healthcare approach, he feels chiropractic care and acupuncture care work exceptionally well together to accelerate healing from musculoskeletal injuries, offering patients maximum benefit. His acupuncture style has been strongly influenced by the Tan Balance Method, a technique well suited to pain management. Prior to becoming a practitioner interested in alternative approaches to healing, he co-founded a company called Medical Concepts, which provided on-site wellness programs to OEM industries throughout the country. Through a joint venture with one of the nation’s leading medical laboratories, MetPath (owned by Corning Glass), the company successfully implemented and managed over 350,000 individual wellness tests nationally. Jeff is a graduate of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine (OCOM) in Portland, OR and nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He resides in Portland with his wife Shannon and their two daughters, Brittany and Hannah.
